Dishonesty woes
Dishonesty is always bad, for a mind in a rational state. But it has occured to me that it is sometimes involuntary; it is often accompanied by a huge dilemma, which is a tough balance of righteousness versus how important something is to you that you'd try all means to get it. A huge lot depends on the situation a person is in and his mental state of mind. When a person has been overfocused on achieving something for more than an hour, this dilemma will tend to tilt towards the latter, neglecting any other trains of thoughts while bent on putting his best effort. Dishonesty then comes in easily and unguarded, with almost no barriers by the virtue of righteouness that would otherwise be present. Dishonesty unknowingly becomes a consequence of a person's drive for a better result. It is only when the person regains its normal state of mind and rationality that he realise dishonesty has taken the better of him. Are such people entirely dishonest?
I guess its still yes, and a pure dishonest person would definitely be a person who deliberately lies to cover up the truth. Some thoughts after the 50% design test, where lack of surveillance gave everyone a small avenue for dishonesty.
